Four charged for lying about death of infant

<p>An infant death that was initially ruled accidental is being reopened, with four people charged Tuesday with misleading investigators in the case.</p><p>The three-month-old boy suffocated April 3, and officials at first ruled it an accidental while sleeping with his parents, Candice Triplett and James Rodney Triplett.</p><p>During a follow-up investigation, authorities determined the Marietta couple was lying about the circumstances of the boy's death.</p><p>Candice Triplett, 18, and James Triplett, 30, have both been charged with involuntary manslaughter, cruelty to children, tampering with evidence and obstruction.</p><p>Police have also charged two others _ the boy's uncle and a neighbor _ for possibly helping with a coverup.</p><p>Charles Terry Love, 19, and the neighbor, 17-year-old Rio Dee Sweat, also face charges of obstruction and making false statements to police.</p>
