<p>Three men have been sentenced to life in prison, after a Houston County jury found them guilty of murder in the beating and shooting death of a 21-year-old man at a Warner Robins trailer park.</p><p>Kyle Oree, 33, Benny Frank Durham Jr., 19, and Jamaal Durrell Williams, 19, all were convicted of killing Robert Daughtry Jr. on April 8, 2003, then dumping his body in a trash compactor.</p><p>Prosecutors said Daughtry was killed after a dispute with Oree, the leader of a rap group called OCF, which stands for Original Chryme Family. They said the men were angry because Daughtry had pulled away from the group to pursue a solo career.</p><p>On the day of the killing, Daughtry was beaten in his home, dragged down a street in the mobile home park, thrown over a wall and shot seven times. The men then disposed of the body in a trash compactor.</p><p>In addition to the murder convictions, Oree was found guilty of kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault; Durham was found guilty of kidnapping, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime; and Williams was convicted of kidnapping, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm.</p><p>Two other men, 19-year-old Melvin Cheven Daniels and 17-year-old Alex Marshall, also are serving life sentences after already pleading guilty to similar charges for their roles in the murder.</p><p>The victim's father, Robert Daughtry Sr., said Wednesday that he was satisfied with the outcome.</p><p>"This doesn't bring my son back," he said.
