ATLANTA - The Lake Lanier Association's fight to keep Gwinnett County from discharging up to 40 million gallons of wastewater into Lake Lanier is moving to the next level as it works its way through the judicial system.
The state Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case.
The association's suit seeks to void a permit issued to the county by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division four years ago.
Earlier this year, the state Court of Appeals ruled against the Association, but the lake group appealed to the state Supreme Court.
