DECATUR - The Lakeview Academy boys tennis team advanced to the Sweet 16 in the Class A tournament after whipping Whitefield Academy 4-0 Monday.<br>

The Lions (8-6) dropped just one set in the match.<br>

Chris Gatti at No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-1) and James Fancis at No. 3 singles (6-3, 6-3) picked up wins.<br>
<br>
The No. 1 doubles team of Payden Sewell and David Burleson won 6-0, 7-5 and the No. 2 doubles team rallied from a set down to win 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.<br>
<br>
David Ellis at No. 1 singles won the first set 7-5 but was pulled after the Lions clinched the win.
