SALEM, VIRGINIA - Eddy Martinez-Esteve had three hits and knocked in two runs Thursday night, leading third-seeded Florida State to a 6-3 victory against Duke in the winners' bracket of the ACC tournament.<br>

The Seminoles (39-19) will play defending champion Georgia Tech on Friday, with the winner advancing to the championship game.<br>

Duke (25-30) will play North Carolina in an elimination game.<br>

Martinez-Esteve had an RBI single in the first inning, a triple and scored in the fifth inning, then doubled after Stephen Drew's triple in the seventh, giving the Seminoles and Tyler Chambliss (4-1) a 4-3 lead.<br>

Ryne Malone's sacrifice fly made it 5-3 later in the inning, and Florida State added a run in the eighth on Bryan Zech's sacrifice fly.<br>

Chambliss replaced starter Mark Sauls in the sixth, after a double by Bryan Smith, a wild pitch and Corey Whiting's RBI single tied it 3-3.<br>

He got a strikeout and a double-play grounder to get out of the inning, then allowed only two hits the rest of the way for his second win in as many nights. He won Wednesday night after getting just one out.<br>

The Seminoles had taken a 3-2 lead in the fifth on Aaron Cheesman's sacrifice fly to right, a ball that second baseman Smith caught while backpedaling, then fell onto his backside as Martin-Esteve trotted in.<br>

Duke starter Zach Schreiber (5-5) lasted six-plus innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out four and walking three.<br>

The Blue Devils' first two runs came on a double-play grounder by Eric Baumann and a single by John Berger, giving Duke a 2-1 lead in the second.
