GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview Academy girls tennis team clinched first place in Region 8-A after taking a 4-1 win over Tallulah Falls Wednesday.<br>

The Lady Lions (7-2, 5-0) top two players both won without dropping a game.<br>

Cassie Martin at No. 1 singles whipped Rebecca Taylor 8-0 while Amey Kearns at No. 2 whipped Ashley Passy 8-0.<br>
<br>
Dianna briggs at No. 3 singles suffered the only loss losing 8-4 to Katana White.<br>
<br>
The No. 1 doubles team of Katie Clark and Sarina Bhole took an 8-4 victory over Natalie Carneal and Jessica Sweat.<br>
<br>
Lakeview won by forfeit at No. 2 doubles.
