MURRAYVILLE - North Hall baseball coach David Dyer was on the bench Wednesday night despite having an emergency appendectomy Tuesday night.<br>

North Hall assistant coach Roger Fannon said Dyer experienced pain Tuesday and the procedure was performed successfully.<br>

Fannon ran the game for the Trojans Wednesday against Fannin County and is expected to handle the bulk of the duties Friday when North Hall travels to play Gainesville.<br>

Dyer called the pitches during Wednesday's game.
