<p>A house fire northwest of Augusta which claimed the lives of two children and one man Monday night may have been caused by a wood stove.</p><p>Samuel Bussey and his stepdaughters, 13-year-old Antis'cia Marshall and 10-year-old Eugenia, probably died from smoke and soot inhalation, according to Columbia County Coroner Vernon Collins.</p><p>Also, Bussey's wife, Sharon, and a 5-year-old boy were taken to Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Sharon Bussey was listed in critical condition in the burn unit of the hospital, and the boy was listed in serious condition.</p><p>Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine visited the fire scene Tuesday, and said the suspected cause of the fire was a wood stove inside the house.</p><p>Assistant Chief Brice Reynolds of the Leah Fire Department said that when crews arrived, Sharon Bussey already was outside the residence.
