GAINESVILLE - With little margin for error, the Lakeview Academy girls tennis team could not get that one elusive win over Gainesville Monday in the Hall County Tournament.<br>

The Class A Lady Lions fell to Class AAA Gainesville 3-2.<br>

Lakeview had to forfeit at No. 3 singles.<br>
<br>
Gainesville's Heather Henry beat Lakeview's Cassie Martin 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while Lakeview's Amey Kerns beat Gainesville's Emily Brookshire 7-5, 6-1 to even the match at 1-1.<br>

The forfeit at No. 3 singles gave the Lady Elephants a 2-1 lead heading into the doubles.<br>
<br>
Lakeview tied the match at 2-2 after the No. 1 team of Katie Clark and Serena Bhole beat Kahra Manji and Paige Mintz 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.<br>

But Gainesville's No. 2 doubles team of Kathleen Malone and Janna Hokayem clinched the win with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Dianna Briggs and Sarah Joseph.
