FLOWERY BRANCH - Behind a singles sweep, the Lakeview Academy girls tennis team took a 3-2 win over host Flowery Branch Thursday.<br>

It's the first match this season where Lakeview had three singles players.<br>

Cassie Martin beat Kristen Fauts 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles; Amey Kearns beat Jessica Bassett 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 singles; and Dianna Briggs beat Caitlin Tolan 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles to clinch the match.<br>

The Lady Falcons took both doubles matches.Mary Philips and Brittany Barrett won 6-4, 6-2 over Katie Clark and Sarrina Bhole at No. 1 doubles.<br>

Andrea Gonzalez and Loan Nguyen beat Sarah Joseph and Sarah Joiner 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
