GAINESVILLE - Hall County Commissioners have unanimously agreed to postpone until March 25th first reading and a public hearing on changes to the county's unlawful noise ordinance.
Commissioner Roger Cole, who proposed the changes, asked for the postponement at Thursday night's commission meeting.
Cole is responding to complaints about noise coming from barnyard animals, specifically roosters, that are being kept in residential areas.
His proposals would limit such critters to pieces of land five acres or larger.
