Gay marriage forum at GC

OAKWOOD - From California to New York to Wisconsin to Georgia, it is a hot-button topic right now: gay marriage - and it'll be up for discussion at Gainesville College Wednesday

The forum is one of several events planned at Gainesville College over the next few days to mark Women's History Month.

The panel discussion will take place at noon in the Continuing Education Center.

A constitutional amendment banning gay marriage is pending in the Georgia Legislature - and mayors in San Francisco and upstate New York have been marrying gay and lesbian couples.
