Jaguars sign former Falcon Juran Bolden

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed cornerback Juran Bolden, who played for Atlanta last season, his second stint with the team. <br> <br> The Jaguars also signed veteran linebacker Greg Favors to a three-year, $3.6 million deal that includes a $750,000 signing bonus.<br> <br> Bolden began his career with Atlanta in 1996, played three seasons there, then played for Green Bay, Carolina and Kansas City in 1998 and 1999. He spent two seasons in Canada, then re-signed with the Falcons in 2002.<br> <br> Favors, 29, a seventh-year pro, played in all 16 games for the Carolina Panthers last season, starting 12 regular season games. In addition, he played in three of the Panthers&#39; four postseason games, including the Super Bowl.<br> <br> Favors, who also played three seasons with the Tennessee Titans, joins safety Deon Grant as the second Panthers defensive starter this month to jump to the Jaguars in free agency.<br> <br> Favors was originally a fourth round draft choice of Kansas City out of Mississippi State in 1998.<br> <br> The 6-1, 244-pound linebacker is the second outside linebacker signed by the Jaguars this offseason. He will compete with former Miami Dolphin Tommy Hendricks to replace Danny Clark, who recently signed with the Oakland Raiders.<br> <br> Favors is the ninth unrestricted free agent to sign with the Jaguars since March 2.<br> <br> The Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio served as defensive coordinator for Panthers in 2002 before coming to the Jaguars.
