BLUE RIDGE - Despite an opening match win by Emily Randall at No. 1 singles, the North Hall girls tennis team fell 3-2 to Fannin County Tuesday in Region 7-AAA action.<br>

Randall needed three sets to beat Fannin's Carrie Allen 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 but then the lady rebels won the next three matches to get the win.<br>

Fannin's Suzanne Step beat North Hall's Carly Franze' 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles to even the match and then Fannin's Amber Queen beat Mary-Katherine Pittman 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles to take the lead.<br>

The Lady Rebels clinched the match at No. 1 doubles when Beth Patterson and Elizabeth Step beat Rebecca Niedfieldt and Maggie Mayfield 6-1, 6-3.<br>

The Lady Trojans won the final match of the day when Lindsey Kitchens and Courtney Cooper defeated April Gavensen and Jenna Devenport 8-6.<br>
<br>
The Lady Trojans will be in action again on Thursday in a Region 7-AAA match against rival White County.
