GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce has released a detailed itinerary for the Georgia chamber's industry-hunting Red Carpet Tour when it rolls into Gainesville next month.
About 35 business and industry leaders from around the world will be "wined and dined" for about six hours April 9 - with stops at Road Atlanta, the Lake Lanier Olympic Center and Riverside Military Academy.
They are to arrive at Road Atlanta around 3:00 where they will be given a chance to tour the track in a race car. Then its on to the Lake Lanier Olympic Center for a reception.
The final stop of the day will be Riverside Military Academy for another reception and dinner. The keynote speaker for the banquet will be Donald Panoz, the owner of Road Atlanta and Chateau Elan, who established a business presence in Hall County after visiting the area several years ago as a Red Carpet Tour guest.
The evening will conclude with music and fireworks.
