OAKWOOD - The Gainesville girls soccer team came into the Northeast Georgia Mountains Cup ranked sixth and the odds-on favorite to repeat as champions in 2004.<br>

After Saturday's 3-2 loss to West Hall, the Lady Elephants (5-5) finished fourth.<br>

The Lady Spartans (7-4-1) got goals from Katie Porter, Carla Gaurin and Jill Parham in the win.
