HIAWASSEE - The Lakeview Academy girls tennis team remained unbeaten in Region 8-A North play after taking a 4-0 win over Towns County Monday.<br>

The Lady Lions (5-2, 3-0) lost just eight games during the team match.<br>

Lakeview's Cassie Martin started with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Sara Rogers at No. 1 singles. Amey Kearns beat Ginny Timmerman 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Dianna Briggs won at No. 3 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Christi Cannon.<br>

The No. 1 doubles team of Katie Clark and Sarina Bhole beat Blair Barrett and Ashley Connell 6-1, 6-3.<br>

Sarah Joseph won an exhibition match that did not count in the team score.
