Eight people arrested on drug, gambling charges in Bartow County

<p>The Narcotics Enforcement Team of the Bartow County Sheriffs Office arrested eight people on various drug and gambling charges in an undercover operation.</p><p>Agents said they were able to buy methamphetamine at the restaurant Cafe Hambones on Friday, and they also were paid in cash after winning on the video poker machines.</p><p>Those arrested were Connie Sue Gunnels, John Robert Thurston, Dawn Cherie Hawkins, Sabrina Gayle Byers, Kimberly Pauline Campbell, Kern Gravely Jr., Dewey Anthony Smith and L.C. Ramsdell.</p><p>Ramsdell is from Atlanta, and Hawkins address was unknown, according to the sheriffs office. The other six people are from Cartersville.</p>
