Elbert in, Stephens out in Region 8-AAA boys tourney

HARTWELL - The Elbert County boys basketball team advanced to the Class AAA state tournament with a 63-57 win over Franklin County Tuesday night in Region 8-AAA action at Hart County High School.<br>

The Blue Devils will play No. 6 Hart County Thursday night in the region semifinals at Monroe Area High School.<br>
<br>
The Stephens County boys were knocked out of the tourney by Grayson, 52-43.
