ATLANTA - Kevin Thomas had 16 points and Nate Williams added 14 to help Georgia State beat Florida Atlantic 90-76 Thursday night, the Panthers' third straight victory.<br>

Herman Favors scored 13 for Georgia State (16-8, 11-6 Atlantic Sun Conference), which had five players in double figures. The Panthers shot 53 percent from the field including 8-of-19 on 3-pointers and outrebounded Florida Atlantic 38-32.<br>

Pierre Tucker finished with 21 points and Earnest Crumbley had 16 for the Owls (8-16, 5-12), who made 21 turnovers.<br>

Georgia State jumped to a 5-0 lead and never trailed. Favors scored the final five points of the first half to give the Panthers a 37-24 lead at the break, and the margin grew to 27 midway through the second half. Florida Atlantic never got closer than 11 the rest of the way.
