GAINESVILLE - A worker at the Kubota Manufacturing Plant in Gainesville is recovering at Grady Hospital in Atlanta after a fork lift accident Friday morning.
Interim Fire Chief David Kimbrell says the fork lift went out control and overturned onto the worker.
"It's called de-gloving ," Kimbrell said. "It actually caused severe injuries to his lower legs. The drive was evaluated and the decision was made to airlift the patient."
The man's name has not been released, and Kubota has not made a public statement about the accident.
