DAHLONEGA - The incoming president of North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega will be introduced to the school's faculty, staff and students Wednesday afternoon.
Dr. David Potter is scheduled to attend an assembly in Hoag Auditorium at 1:30.
Dr. Potter, who most recently served as Mississippi Commissioner of Higher Education, is to take office January 1, replacing the retiring Nathaniel Hansford.
Dr. Hansford will also be recognized during the ceremony for his five and a half years of service to NGCSU.
A reception will follow in the Adams Great Room next to the auditorium.
