SAVANNAH - Shaun Durant scored 20 points and had eight rebounds to lead Lipscomb to a 71-56 victory over winless Savannah State Monday night.<br>

Just one other player was in double figures for Lipscomb (4-1) Brian Fisk with 11. But the Bisons, who beat Savannah State 83-64 on Nov. 23 in Nashville, Tenn., shot 50 percent from the field (25-50) and had a 42-29 edge in rebounds. They led at the half 33-19.<br>

Mark Williams had 22 points and Donald Carson 21 for the Tigers (0-9), who shot just 31 percent, including 21.7 percent in the first half. They were the only Savannah State players with more than one field goal.
