Georgia St. whips Delta State

ATLANTA - Kevin Thomas led Georgia State&#39;s outside shooting with four 3-pointers Tuesday night in the Panthers&#39; 88-68 victory over Delta State.<br> <br> Thomas finished with 19 points, Marcus Brown had 18 including two 3-pointers, and Malcolm Manier scored 17 with three treys under his belt for Georgia State (3-4), which connected on 13-of-29 from beyond the arc.<br> <br> Nine of the Panthers 3-pointers came in the first half as GSU built a 50-25 advantage.<br> <br> Delta State (2-4) had four players in double figures, led by Trey Sanders with 16 points. Jeremy Richardson had 13 points with Marlon McCoy adding 11 and Sandrell Spann 10.<br> <br> For Georgia State, Tikoyo Barnett finished with 11 points and two treys while Herman Favors added 10 more points, two of them 3-pointers. Sylvester Morgan had six blocked shots on the defensive end and seven points.
