LOS ANGELES (AP) - Noelle Quinn had 16 points and nine rebounds to help No. 23 UCLA beat USC 62-61 on Tuesday night in the Pac-10 opener for both teams.<br>

The Bruins never trailed in the game but survived a pair of game-winning shot attempts by the Trojans in the final seconds.<br>

USC's Jamie Funn made one of two free throws with 1:39 to play to cut the Bruins' lead to one.<br>

After UCLA's Nikki Blue missed as the shot clock expired, USC pulled down the rebound and called time with 12 seconds left. The Trojans missed two shots under the basket, then got the ball back with 0.6 seconds to play, but Quinn tipped away the inbounds pass to seal the win.<br>

Blue had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bruins (7-3), Lisa Willis added 13 and Lindsey Pluimer scored 12 before fouling out.<br>

Camille Lenoir and Eshaya Murphy led USC (6-4) with 13 points apiece.<br>

USC trailed by two at halftime despite making just nine of 32 shots.<br>

UCLA shot 46 percent (12-for-26) in the first half and finished at 39.3 percent.
