Nebraska 62, Tennessee 61

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Marcus Neal hit three free throws with 1.2 seconds left to lift Nebraska to a 62-61 victory over Tennessee on Thursday night.<br> <br> Tennessee (6-5) led 61-57 with 41 seconds left after making a 10-0 run, but missed four foul shots in the last 36 seconds, including the front end of two one-and-bonus situations.<br> <br> Nebraska (5-4) cut the deficit to two on Jason Dourisseau&#39;s dunk with 34 seconds left. The Vols&#39; Scooter McFadgon missed two foul shots with 9.8 seconds left, and the Cornhuskers worked for the last shot.<br> <br> With time running out, the ball was knocked loose, Neal grabbed it and was fouled by C.J. Watson while attempting a 3-point shot. He hit the first two, and after a Vols timeout, hit the game-winner.<br> <br> Neal led Nebraska with 17 points and Joe McCray and Jake Muhleisen had 11 each.<br> <br> Tennessee was led by Brandon Crump with 19 points, McFadgon with 15 and Watson with 11.<br> <br> The Vols were just 6-of-17 from the foul line, while the Cornhuskers were 11-of-18.<br> <br> Neither team led by more than six points in the first half.<br> <br> Nebraska used an 8-0 run, capped by Muhleisen&#39;s 3-pointer with 4:58 left in the half, for a 24-18 lead the biggest lead for either team in the first half. The Cornhuskers led 31-26 at halftime.<br> <br> Tennessee regained the lead twice in the first seven minutes of the second half.<br> <br> With the score tied at 42, Nebraska went on an 8-0 run and took a 50-42 lead on Neal&#39;s 3-pointer with 10:03 left.<br> <br> Nebraska was up 57-51 when the Vols started a 10-0 run capped by Crump&#39;s shot on the baseline with 3:25 left. Andre Patterson&#39;s dunk in transition gave the Vols a 61-57 lead with 41 seconds to play.
