ATLANTA (AP) Kasha Terry scored 14 points and Megan Harpring added 13 and Georgia Tech beat Mississippi Valley State 74-to-41 tonight in the opening round of Tech's holiday tournament.<br>

Georgia Tech (7-2) opened with a 21-2 run. Mississippi Valley connected on 1-of-20 field goal attempts in the first 13 minutes.<br>

The Delta Devilettes (2-6) used a 10-1 run to pull within eight points with 3:17 left in the half. Tech led 27-to-18 at halftime.<br>

The Yellow Jackets had a 16-2 run early in the second half to pull away.<br>

Letecha Smith led Mississippi Valley with 11 points.
