<p>Fabian Walker passed for 215 yards and two touchdowns and Vincent Brown ran for 110 yards and two scores to lead Valdosta State to a 38-12 victory over Carson-Newman in the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs on Saturday.</p><p>Walker connected with Tyran Robinson on a 65-yard scoring pass 62 seconds into the game and the hit Bama Adams on an 11-yard scoring pass in the second quarter.</p><p>Brown, who had only eight carries, scored on runs of 11 and 50 yards in the final period for the Blazers (10-1).</p><p>Walker, who completed 21 of 30 passes, also had a 6-yard scoring run for the Blazers.</p><p>Carson-Newman (9-3) got its first score on an 86-yard punt return by Deonte Bolden in the third quarter and J.J. Chatmon scored on a 16-yard run with 51 seconds left in the game.</p><p>Carson-Newman eliminated Valdosta State 35-29 in the first round of last year's playoffs.</p><p>The visitors had been averaging 505 yards a game but VSU's defense held them to 364.</p>
