CONWAY, S.C. (AP) Patrick Hall ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns as Coastal Carolina beat Savannah State on Saturday to win their sixth consecutive game.<br> <br> Hall got the Chanticleers (8-1) on the board with a 70-yard run. He later gave Coastal Carolina a 28-6 lead on a 6-yard run with 8:40 left in the half.<br> <br> Jerome Simpson caught two scores for the Chanticleers, including a 51-yard screen pass from backup quarterback Scott Crouch to give Coastal Carolina a 35-6 halftime lead.<br> <br> The Chanticleers are 5-0 this season at Brooks Stadium.<br> <br> The Tigers (2-6) were led by Clyde Tullis, who completed 15-of-35 yards for 182 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. Tullis connected with Trevis Stricklen on a 16-yard touchdown pass to cut the lead to 14-6 with 1:20 to go in the first quarter.<br> <br> MyShun McAlpine led Savannah State in rushing with 24 carries for 127 yards.<br> <br> Coastal Carolina posted 277 rushing yards and 417 yards of total offense. The Tigers, who had five interceptions, had 396 offense yards.
