Marrietta - The Walton Raiders came from behind to defeat the North Gannett Bulldogs in the second round of the 5-A highschool football State Playoff's.<br>

The Raiders (11-1) were down early, but worked themselves back into the game and were able to defeat the Bulldogs (9-3) 27-17.<br>
<br>
Down 10-0, the Raiders got back into the game with an interception returned for a touchdown by Ryan Harkins to make the score 10-7. Harkins had a hugh game on defense, finishing with 3 interceptions.<br>
<br>
North Gwinnett pulled scored on a touchdown by Crawford Kilpatrick. Kilpatrick caught a reception but fumbled on the 2-yard line and then recovered it in the endzone to put the Bulldogs up 17-10.<br>

With North Gwinnett leading 17-13 in the fourth quarter, Walton was able to score twice to take the lead and the game. <br>
<br>
Walton's runningback Justin Forte came through for the Raiders. Scoring on a 66-yard touchdown run to take the lead 20-17. Then he scored on a 31-yard run to put the game out of reach and making the final 27-17. <br>
<br>
Next week Walton will face the winner of the Valdosta and Douglass game which will be play tommorrow.<br>
