AUBURN, Ala. (AP) Georgia wide receiver Reggie Brown left the game against Auburn on Saturday with a concussion after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit that left him lying face down for about five minutes.
Midway through the third quarter, Brown caught a pass over the middle inside the Auburn 20, but was leveled by Junior Rosegreen. The ball popped loose and was recovered by the Tigers.
Brown was left on the turf with his hands on his head.
Medical personal quickly came out to attend to the senior and brought a stretcher on to the field, but it wasn't needed.
Brown slowly worked his way to his feet and left the field with some assistance to chants of ``Reggie, Reggie'' coming from the crowd.
He entered the game leading Georgia in receiving yards and tied for the team lead in receptions, and had four catches for 62 yards.
