Portrait of retiring NGCSU president unveiled

DAHLONEGA - A portrait of retiring North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) President Nathaniel Hansford has been unveiled.

The portrait will hang in the conference room on the top floor of Price Memorial Hall on the North Georgia campus.

The presentation took place during a recent gala honoring the Hansfords at the R-Ranch north of Dahlonega.

Dr. Hansford is retiring at the end of the year after five-and-one-half years as president of North Georgia College & State University. More than 250 people attended the event, sponsored by the Foundation and the Alumni Association, that included announcement of a funded scholarship named in honor of Hansford, the 15th president of NGCSU.
