NEW YORK (AP) The N-B-A has indefinitely suspended Ron Artest (ahr-TEST'), Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson of the Indiana Pacers and Ben Wallace of Detroit for their roles in last night's full-scale brawl at The Palace at Auburn Hills.
Commissioner David Stern called the melee ``shocking, repulsive and inexcusable,'' adding that it was a humilitation for everyone associated with the N-B-A.
The league is still investigating the riot, which began in the final minute of the Pacers' 97-to-82 win over the Pacers. The N-B-A has issued a statement saying it was reviewing rules and security procedures ``so that fans can continue to attend our games unthreatened by events such as the ones that occurred last night.''
