ATLANTA - Justin Patterson ran for 155 yards on 21 carries with a touchdown and Marshall Sheppard added 82 yards and a score to lead LaGrange to a 38-0 win over M.L. King in the Class AAA state semifinals on Saturday.<br>

The Grangers, who won state titles in 2001 and 2003, will try for a consecutive championship against Washington County next week.<br>

LaGrange (14-0) jumped to an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter when Sheppard scored on a 22-yard run and Patterson ran for a 3-yard score. Tommy Traylor kicked a 28-yard field goal just before halftime.<br>

After Thad Todd scored on a 3-yard run, the LaGrange defense had three straight fumble recoveries that led to two touchdowns. Todd threw a 5-yard touchdown to John Sherrer and Dernard Heard ran for another from 13 yards away.<br>

The Grangers caused four turnovers and four sacks.<br>

Kenny Bolton had 11 attempts for 31 yards on the ground for the Lions (11-3).
