<p>A police drug investigator was dragged by an SUV down a gravel road Thursday while investigating a home, but he survived with just a crushed collarbone.</p><p>Chance Oxner, a commander for the Northeast Georgia Drug Task Force, was helping on a routine check Thursday afternoon when a 20-year-old woman drove up to the home, shaking and nervous according to police reports.</p><p>The woman, Shannon Lynn Rich, was asked by Oxner to step out of her car, a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban.</p><p>"When he did that, she floored it," said Sgt. Tonya Elrod, who witnessed the incident. "Next thing I knew he was being dragged down the road."</p><p>Elrod chased the Suburban for nearly an hour before stopping Rich. She is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, reckless driving, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license.</p><p>Oxner was taken to Habersham County Medical Center.</p>
