Bobcats 93, Hawks 89

<p>Rookie Emeka Okafor scored 15 points and Primoz Brezec added 14 to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a 93-89 preseason finale victory over the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night.</p><p>Okafor, the No. 2 pick in the draft, hit 6-of-8 shots in leading the Bobcats to their second straight win. Atlanta has lost six consecutive games.</p><p>Antoine Walker had 31 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks, his best game since being acquired in an August trade with Dallas. Al Harrington added 17 points and seven rebounds in his return after missing a game with a sprained finger.</p><p>The Hawks rallied from a 12-point third quarter deficit to tie it on Josh Smith's dunk with nine minutes left.</p><p>But Eddie House hit a 3-pointer in a 9-2 run to put Charlotte ahead to stay. Brevin Knight made two free throws with 5.4 seconds to seal the win.</p><p>House added 13 points and Steve Smith scored 12 for the expansion Bobcats. Point guard Jason Hart, replaced in the starting lineup earlier in the preseason by Knight, had 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists.</p><p>Jason Collier had eight points and seven rebounds for the Hawks in his return to Crown Coliseum. Collier played 30 games for the Fayetteville Patriots of the National Basketball Developmental League last season before signing with the Hawks in March.</p><p>Atlanta center Kevin Willis missed his second straight game with a strained right shoulder.</p><p>Tony Delk warmed up, but decided to sit out the game. He hasn't played since undergoing knee surgery in July.</p><p>Charlotte guard Gerald Wallace was ejected for picking up two technical fouls in the third quarter. The first came when Wallace tussled with Harrington on a held ball. The second came two minutes later when Wallace taunted Harrington after blocking his shot.</p>
