USC still No. 1; Dogs fall to 12th

UNDATED - Southern Cal remains atop The Associated Press college football poll this week after a close victory over Cal last night. Oklahoma, which shut out Texas, remains second. Miami moves up a spot to third, and Auburn is up two spots to fourth.

Georgia dropped from third to 12th after a 19-14 loss to Tennessee Saturday.

Purdue climbs from ninth to fifth, followed by Virginia, which also jumped four spots. Florida State is seventh, Cal is eighth, Texas dropped four spots to ninth, and Wisconsin is tenth.

Utah sits in the eleventh place this week, followed by Georgia, which fell from third to 12th. Tennessee is 13th, then come Michigan, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Louisville, Minnesota and LSU.

Boise State is again 21st, Florida is 22nd, Texas A&M enters the list at 23, Southern Mississippi is in the 24 spot, and Ohio State is 25th.
