FORT VALLEY - Kevin Huff passed for 353 yards and one touchdown and added another 91 yards on the ground to lead Tuskegee to a 22-19 victory over Fort Valley State Saturday night.<br>

The Golden Tigers (5-1, 3-1 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) built a 22-10 lead on Lawrence Ervin's 4-yard scoring run, his second of the game, with 11:57 remaining and withstood a Fort Valley (5-3, 4-3) rally.<br>

One Wildcat threat was stopped when Dimit Patterson picked off a pass and returned it 65 yards.<br>

Fort Valley got a 31-yard field goal from Andrew Jacas with 10:18 remaining, then added a touchdown on the final play of the game, a 17-yard pass from Willie Copeland to Antonio Hughes.<br>

Huff's scoring pass covered 59 yards to Richard Fitzhugh in the opening period. Ervin's other score came on a 2-yard run in the second quarter. Travis Gumbs had a 29-yard field goal for the Tigers.<br>

Jacas also had a 46-yard field goal for Fort Valley and Derrick Wimbush got the other touchdown on a 4-yard run.
