Bulldogs fans will have to wait until June to find out whether theyll pay more for season tickets to Georgias home football games.

The UGA Athletic Association board voted Wednesday to hold off on a decision until its spring meeting, which runs from June 4-6.

It named a committee to review the athletic departments financial situation and determine how it should increase its ticket priority donations to an athletic fund.

One plan being considered would require a $400 ticket priority donation to buy 50-yard-line seats. Other seats in the 100 and 300 season-ticket levels would require donations to the Georgia Educational Enhancement Fund of $250 or $325, depending on the section. A $100 donation would be required to be considered for seats in the stadiums new upper deck.

It currently costs $200 for the right to purchase a season ticket. Each season ticket costs $32.

The board is considering raising contribution amounts to pay off debt and to fund scholarships for student-athletes. It hopes to generate an additional $5 million in revenue through the proposed increases.

The board is also considering making changes regarding prices for club level seats, parking spaces and corporate tickets, and the issue of inheriting tickets.
