Falcons get sweep of Athens Christan

ATHENS - Flowery Branch coach Angela Middleton was at a loss for words Friday after a stunning 53-52 upset loss to North Hall.<br> <br> She was all smiles Saturday as the Lady Falcons (10-3) rebounded with a resounding 69-22 win over Class A Athens Christian.<br> <br> In the boys game, Flowery Branch got back to .500 with a 66-52 win over the Eagles.<br> <br> Kristina Tyler, who was held to just six points against North hall, had a huge game inside recording a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals to lead the Lady falcons.<br> <br> Beth Adcock poured in 19 and freshman Courtney Newton, who had 24 against North Hall, added 11.<br> <br> In the boys game, freshman Zac Swansey followed his 18-point performance against North Hall with 28-point ouburst against Athens Christian to lead the Falcons to the win.<br> <br> A big third-quarter run held Flowery Branch (6-6) pull away from the Eagles in the second half.<br> <br> Justin Heilman was the only other Falcon in double figures with 11 points.
