RABBITTOWN - The South Gwinnett girls basketball team used a 10-0 run to start the second quarter and then cruised to a 56-39 win over East Hall Saturday night.<br>

The Lady Vikings (8-3) stayed even with the Lady Comets (9-3) early with scored tied 11-11 at the end of the first quarter.<br>

After the smoke cleared from the quick start in the second quarter, South Gwinnett led 27-16 at halftime. They put the game out of reach with a 6-0 to start the third quarter to take a 33-16 lead.<br>

Sarah Richards led South Gwinnett with 14 points. Ashley Doster and Gia Lockett each added 12 points for the Lady Comets.<br>

Whitney Pruitt led East Hall with a game-high 16 points. Heather Poole scored 10 for the Lady Vikings.
