JEFFERSON - The Jefferson girls are ninth in the latest Class A gabasketball.net poll. Athens Academy, which is also in Region 8-A, is third behind Taylor County and Jenkins County.<br>

In Class AA, the Buford girls fell to 13th in the latest poll. Buford is only the third best team in its subregion (Region 8-AA South) howver, with Wesleyan ranked No. 1 and Greater Atlanta Christian is seventh in the poll.<br>

There are no teams in northeast Georgia in the latest Class AAAA poll.<br>

In Class AAAAA, Collins Hill is No. 2 behind Campbell out of Cobb County.
