Thrashers put Lindsay, Sutton on injured reserve

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Thrashers put defenseman Andy Sutton and Bill Lindsay on injured reserve Monday.

Sutton, the team's plus-minus leader, is out indefinitely after breaking his foot Dec. 31 at Detroit. He has one goal, six assists, and a plus-14 rating on a team that has allowed 126 goals, third-most in the NHL.

Lindsay is out for the season after having surgery Sunday for a fractured larynx. He was hit in the throat by a puck during a game.

He was scoreless in 24 games this season.
