GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville High wrestling team is ranked ninth in the latest georgiawrestling.net Class AAA prep poll.<br>

The Red Elephants are 15-7 in dual matches this season and are the only Hall County team ranked in the poll, which was released Monday night.<br>

Gilmer at sixth and Grayson at seventh are the only other Area 3 teams ranked. The Bobcats are sixth in Class AAA.<br>

Gainesville is coming off its first-ever hall County Duals championship.<br>

In other rankings for northeast Georgia teams, Dawson County is ranked No. 1 in Class AA. The Tigers finished second in the state last season to Morgan County, which is second in this week's poll.<br>

Three-time defending Class A champ Jefferson is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll.<br>

The Dragons are coming off a team title win in the Amicalola Classic and two impressive dual match wins last week.<br>

Commerce is ranked seventh in the Class A poll.<br>
