GAINESVILLE - A Hall County sheriff's deputy was treated at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Wednesday night and released after a two-vehicle wreck on Belton Bridge Road just east of Clermont.
Lt. Jeff Strickland of the Hall County Sheriff's Office says the accident occurred about 10:00, after the driver of a 1993 Dodge Dakota, Jamie Lemley of Clermont, lost control of his vehicle and struck deputy James Harrord's patrol car.
Lemley and a passenger in his truck, Cole Knight, 19, of Murrayville, were also taken to the medical center where they were also treated and released.
The Georgia State Patrol is handling the investigation.
