Kennesaw State senior sets conference rebounding record

KENNESAW - Reggie McKoy set a Peach Belt Conference record with 27 rebounds, helping Kennesaw State beat Augusta State 77-45 Saturday.<br>

McKoy, a 6-foot-6 forward from Charlotte, N.C., added 14 points for his eighth double-double of the season. The Owls (16-4, 6-0 PBC) won their seventh straight, thanks to a 21-2 run to close the first half.<br>

In his previous game, McKoy had 22 rebounds against Armstrong Atlantic State, which was two off the old record in the NCAA Division II conference.<br>

He grabbed 11 rebounds in the first half against Augusta State, then set the mark by corralling a missed layup with 1:14 left in the game. McKoy now is averaging 11 rebounds this season.
