CLEVELAND - The White County and Fannin County girls basketball teams will battle for first place in Region 7-AAA North in Cleveland.<br>

The Lady Warriors (12-8, 6-0) beat the Lady Rebels (17-4, 5-1) earlier in the year on the road. A win for White County would likely wrap up the top seed in the subregion with just three games left against Pickens, Chestatee and Gilmer, who are a combined 4-14 in the subregion.<br>

In other North subregion action, North Hall plays host to Chestatee. The Lady war Eagles (7-11, 3-3) have won three straight overall. The Lady Trojans (7-10, 3-3) have lost three straight. Gilmer plays host to Pickens in a battle to stay out of last place.<br>

In Region 7-AAA South action, No. 3 Johnson travels to rival West Hall. The Lady Knights (15-5, 2-2) have lost two of their last three games. West Hall (10-9, 1-4) is coming a bog win against North Hall.<br>
<br>
East Hall (12-7, 2-3) is at No. 1 Gainesville (17-3, 5-0) and Flowery Branch (14-6) plays non-region Peachtree Ridge on the road.<br>

In other action around northeast Georgia, Class A No. 9 Lakeview Academy plays host to No. 1-ranked Social Circle in a Region 8-A battle.<br>

In Region 8-AA, Union County travels to Lumpkin County; Buford plays host to Providence; Apalachee travels to Wesleyan; and Dawson County travels to St. Francis.
