Marcus Vick, Brandon Manning suspended for one game

BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA - Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick and linebacker Brandon Manning were suspended for one game for violating team policies. <br> <br> The suspensions were announced in a release by the school Monday, and coach coach Frank Beamer would not comment on why the players were suspended. <br> <br> A college spokesman was not immediately available Tuesday. <br> <br> Vick, the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, was 7-for-10 for 102 yards Sunday in the No. 9 Hokies&#39; 49-28 season-opening win over Central Florida. <br> <br> Vick and Manning will miss Saturday&#39;s game against James Madison. <br> <br> Sophomore quarterback Chris Clifton is expected to back up Randall, and Aaron Rouse will start in place of Manning.
