Gator's Donovan agrees to six-year deal, $500,000 raise

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA - Florida coach Billy Donovan agreed Tuesday to a new six-year contract that will pay him $1.7 million a year. <br> <br> The contract replaces his old deal and gives him about a $500,000 raise over what he made last season. <br> <br> Donovan has taken the Gators to five straight NCAA tournaments the most in team history although they have been knocked out before the third round the last two seasons. They made the national finals in 2000. <br> <br> Donovan remains the highest-paid coach at Florida. He&#39;ll make about $700,000 more than football coach Ron Zook.
