GB&T's trust division announces new appointments

GAINESVILLE - The Board of Directors of Gainesville Bank & Trust announces new appointments in the bank's Trust Division.

John Atwill, a veteran bank trust and investment professional, has been named head of GB&T's Trust and Investments Division.

Bringing over fourteen years of experience to his new position, Atwill joined GB&T's Trust Division two years ago to initiate and manage the bank's investments program. Prior to joining GB&T, he was with SunTrust in Gainesville and also worked as a trust officer at First National Bank of Gainesville, a bank that later merged with Regions Bank.

Alice Brock has been named Trust Administrator and will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and servicing of all trust accounts. Brock joined GB&T in 2001 as Training Director, planning and implementing a company-wide training program. She has previous experience at Reliance Trust Company and C&S Trust Company in Atlanta.
